23° is a Vienna-based technology company specialising in data research, publication and data visualisation. Since 2017, we have been developing a data platform that helps organisations get from searching for data to a finished publication faster.
We make data, studies, statistics and reports interactive and discoverable – content that would otherwise often remain hidden away in PDFs, spreadsheets, static graphics or internal systems.
Data is everywhere. But it is rarely immediately understandable.
At the heart of the platform are two products: the 23° Explorer and the 23° Creator. The Explorer helps you find relevant statistics, topics and visualisations. The Creator turns them into interactive content that can be designed, shared and published across channels.
The 23° Explorer is the data research and publication area of our platform.
It helps users find relevant statistics, topics and data visualisations faster and publish their own data-driven content. Instead of laboriously searching for data across a range of different sources, teams can use the Explorer to discover content, put it into context and use it as the basis for their own publications.
The Explorer is aimed at a wide variety of organisations – including, among others, newsrooms, associations, companies, public authorities and research institutions that regularly plan or publish data-driven content.
The 23° Creator is the data visualisation area of our platform.
With the Creator, users can create interactive statistics from data they have gathered themselves or from publicly available data. These visualisations can be published, embedded, exported and reused.
For professional workflows, the Creator offers additional capabilities: adaptation to your own corporate identity, rights and role management, publishing options and reuse settings.
This is how data becomes content that not only looks good, but can be embedded directly into websites, articles, reports, presentations or press releases.
